Rooms
Standard Room
Our standard motel rooms are ground-floor and comfortably accommodate up to two guests, with a king bed or twin single beds. Each room is air-conditioned and includes an ensuite bathroom, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, toaster, bar fridge, hair dryer, and television. All linen and towels are supplied, and on-site car parking is available either directly in front of or behind the room.

Family
Room
Our family motel rooms are located on either the ground floor or upstairs and comfortably accommodate up to four guests. Rooms offer lovely views over the guest pool and Geoffrey Bay, with bedding configurations of one king bed and two single beds or four single beds. Each room is air-conditioned and includes an ensuite bathroom, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, toaster, bar fridge, hair dryer, and television. All linen and towels are supplied, with rollaway beds and cots available on request.
Studio Apartment
Our studio apartment is a larger, open-plan room and comfortably accommodates up to four guests, with a king bed, sofa bed and a relaxed lounge area within the same space. It includes a kitchenette with cooktop, dishwasher and full-size fridge, along with air-conditioning, an ensuite bathroom, and all linen and towels supplied. The double balcony is perfect for enjoying the island air, whether you’re easing into the morning or winding down after a day at the beach. Ideal for guests wanting extra space and a more self-contained stay.

Nature on your doorstep
Take an easy walk out to the rocks at the end of Geoffrey Bay and you’ll always spot wallabies, or head off on the nearby Endeavour Falls track where you might even catch a glimpse of a koala. We also have resident echidnas that wander through our gardens from time to time. And yes, the curlews are loud, especially at night, but they’re friendly locals and very much part of the Magnetic Island experience.
Getting Around
With a bus stop right next door at the Newsagency, with regular services running across the island. Buses will take you to many of the main hiking trails, as well as all the way to Horseshoe Bay and Picnic Bay.
If you prefer to drive, local car hire options are close by. There’s also an e-scooter charging station nearby, making it easy to cruise along the beachfront to nearby bays or head across the island towards Nelly Bay. Whether you’re exploring by bus, car or scooter, getting around from Arcadia is simple and stress-free.

Staying at Arcadia Village Motel means you’re right next door to the local pub, perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a cold drink, with different activities and events running each night of the week. A short walk away is Alma Bay, a patrolled swimming beach with a playground, making it ideal for families. Within easy walking distance you’ll also find a laundromat, bottle shop, a newsagent, and a small convenience and clothing store for any essentials you’ve forgotten or didn’t realise you needed until you arrived.
